Nobody (or maybe some of you?!).

Me: Looking for summer. 👀

I have to admit - as soon as the cold and snow hit, I hibernate. I don’t like being outside and I know how negatively that affects my mental health.

Quadrupled with the other layers of things happening, it’s a disastrous recipe of not taking care of me. 

BUT, what has helped get through some dark days is the continuous interactions on this space and the love that pours from all corners of the gram and beyond. 

Don’t forget how powerful connections are - don’t forget how vital they are. I love a DM convo, a funny post sent my way, an engaging comment - keep ‘em coming! 

And in that same tune, the support! Support your fellow creatives and the work that they do! We’re in this collective space of building communities and connections, all while rightfully showing off our talents - cheering each other on and empowering one another to keep shining are also part of community growth and building. The “likes”, “comments”, and “shares” always mean a lot and go a long way! It has and always will be COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION. When I come across the phenomenal work YOU do, you best know I will be doing everything to support and help you! I love being tagged too because sometimes I don’t see things right away - so, tag away!

I’m far from following the proper “rules” of the social media game - trust me, I am notorious for late replies and never posting at the “right” time. But I genuinely mean it, if I didn’t have this space to share love and laughter or anger and frustrations with all of you, not sure how the last few years would’ve been. 

So, peeps, as this wild snow takes over the skies this morning, let’s hope spring is just around the corner AND let’s continue to build spaces that are inclusive, welcoming, and warm (literally and figuratively!!!). ✨
