The actual footage is actually accurate. My days are filled with meetings and this week was no exception. With the kiddos home, I was taking meetings in PJ’s, holding my laptop chasing after them, and making lunches & snacks while delivering presentations. I spared you all with this reality…uh, it was not pleasant.

And, my meetings don’t just stop during the day. I’m on Zoom calls, Google Meets, and phone calls some almost most evenings keeping my purpose projects afloat. Again in between feeding kids dinner, doing bedtime, and having some social life. 

Does this sound like a recipe for burnout? Oh, it does. BUT I’ll have you know that I’ve set some hard boundaries and set days where I do not book anything. Those are my days to do what I want. Sleep. Aimlessly lounge. Binge a show. Whatever disconnects me. Am I behind on life and work at the moment? Abso-freaking-lutely. But I am in control of managing expectations and being realistic about life. Some things can wait. BUT…

My babies cannot. Juggling it all is tough shit. But at the end of the day, a mamas well-being and her babies wellness come first, always. Don’t forget that mamas. Set your expectations. Set those boundaries. And always know that you are doing the best that you can. ♥️
