## Caption

Now this is a story all about how our life got flipped, turned upside down…uh ya, something like that. This is actually a story about our forever home, because today we celebrate two years of being in this haven of ours. 

You see, growing up (almost every story of mine now starts this way), every 8-10 years (or less) our parents would pack us all up and make a move to a new residence. Although there was a lot of fun and excitement, it was also very exhausting with packing and adjusting. We always stayed in Ottawa, but I’m certain we’ve pretty much covered the east, the west, and the south side. 

So for us and our little family, I wanted to commit to a home where our kids would grow along with the ever so nicely planted dents and scratches in the walls and floors that they would place. Yes, memorable but internally cringing too.

In all seriousness, I want the littles to embrace this home as it is truthfully all for them. I want endless laughter and love to flourish in each corner of this home. I want this home to wrap them so tightly in comfort and safety. 

I never thought of our home as being a materialistic item that we HAD to have. It’s always been more than that for me. I see the sentimental value in our forever home. 

So, emotions aside, there’s so much fun to be had in this home - we’ve got exciting plans to change some things up. AND, there’s a big project coming up that I don’t think I’ve shared anything about yet here - watch those stories this week, peeps!! And if I may, I’m also pretty proud of us for reaching this milestone when we did - purchasing a home and going through the process is fun but also very stressful! We had the right mindset and knew what we wanted, and waited a while to make the decision too. 

For now, we’re going to celebrate, because YES, remember, we celebrate everything around here. Cheers to our love that makes this place our home.
