Perhaps a cheesy picture but I also probably have your attention now. 

Over the last few months, myself and the entire team over at the_lotus_movement have been working hard to bring something unique and truly a first of its kind to our #Ottawa community called The Community Power Hour. Working in the mental health space has been educational for myself and so many of us on the team. We are continuously learning and equipping ourselves with the right resources to always be sure we’re offering meaningful and helpful information and workshops. We also leverage the expertise from our Board Advisors who are mental health professionals who have an abundance of wisdom and expertise to help guide our organization. 

SO! On that note, I have an ask from all of YOU! This Thursday, July 8th at 8 PM EDT, join me and the team for our first Community Power Hour event. 
What to expect: 
• Hear more about our organization;
• Hear from mental health professionals at The Royal Mental Health Centre, theroyalmhc ;
• Hear from YOU, our community - what can we as an organization offer more of in terms of education or resources to help bring about more cultural awareness and understanding in the mental health space. 

This is an open forum discussion where all ideas and conversations are welcome. 

And if you’re not physically from or in Ottawa that’s okay! We’d love to have you so that you can learn more about The Lotus Movement.
