Yes to the yes! This is a tough one for me because I am someone who absolutely attempts to plan things to the tee. I project manage for a living. But I’ve learned that sometimes plans never go as planned, and heck that’s okay.

A few examples:

🪴 CONTENT PLANNING: I bet you weren’t expecting that one. I’m quite passé when it comes to the content stuff. I usually write or put stuff out there based on how I’m feeling/doing. Aside from the static items like radio, everything else is pretty fluid here. So as much as I plan, things sometimes I make a turn on this space and that’s okay.

🪴LIFE: I’m sure most of you can relate to this one. Especially this past year. I’ve had to make some drastic changes to executing and investing in my personal ambitions. Facing factors out of my control. Coming to terms with aspects that put a complete dent in my planning was difficult but as Ross perfectly articulated it, “PIVOT”!!!

🪴 MOTHERHOOD: Oh goodness, where do I even begin here? For all my parents out there I think it’s safe to say that plans are almost non-existing because well, kids. Actually, from conception to bringing them into this world to raising them, I can firmly say that plans have been all over the place and so far it has been okay. We’re all doing okay.

🪴MISCELLANEOUS: I attempted to keep a couple of house plants but that plan failed miserably when they didn’t make it - I don’t have a green thumb and need to find a new hobby. 

Point of the matter is: don’t be discouraged when things don’t go as planned. It’s true when they say everything happens for a reason. And sometimes you have to let things be and just go with it.
