## Caption

A couple of lingering thoughts that I hope correlate nicely together, but I’m not even sure what day it is, and parenting during the holidays with no where to go or nothing to do has just left me as a #mombie so let’s see how this goes.

I probably have the biggest potty mouth and I have no shame about it. I swear at just about everything and anything. Sometimes it’s intentional other times it’s just habit. I don’t feel like this “bad habit” is going to magically disappear anytime soon. As a mama, I’ll admit, the use of profanities has definitely heightened. I’m thankful my 4 year old hasn’t picked up any of the words...YET.

I recognize this is a distasteful, um, dare I say addiction almost. But what can I say, it’s just how I am. And this leads me to my next thought. Resolutions (that was quite the jump in thoughts, right?). In my honest opinion, it’s a notorious topic right around this time of the year. I hate to say it, but over the years I’ve grown to dislike the concept of setting “new year resolutions”. I do succumb to the “what’s next” idealism but never do I write down lists of what I need to change to be a better me. I just don’t feel we need a new year to dictate the changes we want or feel the urge to make in our life. We have the ability to make changes in our life whenever we feel empowered to do so. I don’t know, that’s just me. And no judgement to those who set resolutions. Each to their own. I hold a tremendous amount of regard and respect for those who are working hard at achieving their desired goals. Keep at it!

So the idea of becoming less of a potty mouth in 2021 is definitely NOT happening. As I sip my fucking cold tea (why I’m sipping it, I don’t know.), share your thoughts about resolutions with me - yay or nay? End thoughts.
