These are just some of the many forms I use to work on my mental health daily. On October 10th, many of us came together to raise awareness about World Mental Health Day. Let’s keep that awareness going. Our mental health challenges need to be spoken about everyday. Being kind to others extends to more than just one day. Also be reminded that our journeys are our own; you never owe it to anyone to share until you are comfortable to do so. Many things that we come across can trigger us in different ways - be mindful and always speak to a professional when it’s becoming too much.

On the same note, I have to share how I’ve only felt empowered to share a sliver of my journey because of my little warriors. They’ve given me strength and confidence to be vocal about what’s really on my mind - I owe them so much. This past weekend was a time to recognize the power and strength of our girls - I celebrate their existence daily. I thank my girls daily for coming into my life and giving me a different perspective. They know that they matter. And they know that in this world, they can and will be anything their hearts desire.
