Friendships are unique; they usually start with a subtle interaction and manifest into a bond that builds trust, honesty, and loyalty. Energies bring us together and somehow we decide that these are the people who will celebrate our life’s biggest accomplishments and milestones, but also lean on when we feel alone and hopeless.

I’m not trying to sound the least bit self-centred here, but I truly feel that I’m surrounded by gems of friendships; my peeps, who are always looking out for me as I am for them. I decided to step away from a mom vlog episode and showcase a few of my friends, who I’ve known for MANY years. From left to right, meet Priya, Sehr, and Batool. Our friendships have not been perfect. We’ve fought over boys and silly drama. We’ve gone our separate ways and reconnected. We’ve literally been through some interesting ordeals. But in the end, we know we always have each other.

I have to be honest, I’m missing the in-person connection and catch-ups and one thing that’s acted as a form of therapy for me is to regularly stay in touch with people, like these souls. Our chat let’s you in on some stories of our friendship and a few memories that we still hysterically laugh about. But also highlights some interesting realizations growing up in a suburb in #Ottawa.
