I’m thrilled to exhibit a new series of paintings. The LibraryStreetCollective presents Beneath the Moonlight, a solo exhibition of new work by MickaleneThomas theShepherdDetroit.

Marking a major milestone in Thomas’s practice, the exhibition introduces an entirely new body of work exploring masculinity and representations of the Black male body.

Bringing together large-scale paintings, collage and photography, Beneath the Moonlight reflects a pivotal shift in one of the most influential artistic practices in contemporary art.
