Drs. de Hemptinne and Cagle received the UF Innovate's Invention of the Year in October 2022! 🏆🔬

Their research revolutionizes the field of deep brain stimulation (DBS) with the creation of technologies to better identify effective stimulation settings based on a patient’s specific brain activity.

Utilizing the DBS implants, their technology generates visual representations for physicians and patients to make real-time adjustments to the implants. 

Having the capability to adjust DBS implant pulses in real time provides patients living with complex neurological disorders the greatest benefit.
