With the Iran war disrupting global oil supply and pushing prices up, oil-producing countries like #Guyana are cashing in. Higher prices mean faster profits from offshore projects and billions more flowing into the economy 💰 

At the same time, global supply shocks (especially around the Strait of Hormuz) are driving prices higher worldwide, making every barrel Guyana exports even more valuable. 

But it’s not all upside — rising fuel costs are also hitting everyday people, even in oil-rich countries.

Is this a smart opportunity for Guyana… or a risky dependence on global conflict?
