For Aderyn Lawse, Creighton has always felt like home. Her parents are alumni, and she and her two younger siblings grew up in St. John’s parish. Just blocks from campus, her family’s home in the Gifford Park neighborhood is surrounded by grandparents and cousins, all part of the same close-knit community.

At Creighton, that sense of connection has only grown. “I have had countless wonderful professors who make the subject matter fun and engaging and have formed many meaningful friendships with other students. Creighton challenges you to grow, broaden your perspectives and encourages you to look deep within. I have felt extremely supported here and have grown exponentially as a student and individual!”

After graduation next year, Aderyn plans to study clinical herbalism and functional nutrition with the goal of opening her own herbalism/wellness clinic or working at an integrative clinic.
