Powerful Photography series capturing the dramatic underwater rescue of unconscious Team USA swimmer Anita Alvarez, back in 2022. 📸😮‍💨

Anita Alvarez lost consciousness and sank to the bottom of the pool mid-competition, prompting her coach to dive in and rescue her. Head coach Andrea Fuentes dived in, fully clothed, to rescue Alvarez. 💦 She later attributed the incident to overexertion from an intense competition schedule and was medically cleared shortly after. 💪🏼 #usa #swim #photo #anita
