સેન્ટ્રલ GST વિભાગમાં ભ્રષ્ટાચારનો ચોંકાવનારો બનાવ સામે આવ્યો છે, જ્યાં બે અધિકારીઓને 20 લાખ રૂપિયાની લાંચ લેતા ACBએ રંગેહાથ ઝડપી પાડ્યા છે. મળતી માહિતી મુજબ સુપરિન્ટેન્ડેન્ટ મુકેશકુમાર અને ટેક્સ કન્સલ્ટન્ટ આકાશે એક વેપારી પાસેથી કાયદેસરની કાર્યવાહી ટાળવા માટે લાંચની માંગણી કરી હતી. શરૂઆતમાં 
25 લાખની માંગણી બાદ 20 લાખ રૂપિયામાં સોદો નક્કી થયો હતો. વેપારીએ ACBનો સંપર્ક કરતા ટીમે છટકું ગોઠવી બસ સ્ટેન્ડ પાછળ સ્થળે રકમ લેતા જ બંનેને પકડી પાડ્યા હતા. હાલ બંને આરોપીઓ સામે ભ્રષ્ટાચાર વિરોધી કાયદા હેઠળ ગુનો નોંધાઈ વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરવામાં આવી રહી છે.
