Scraps turned sculptures 🌀During Issey Miyake’s production process, wafer-thin sheets of paper are used to protect garmets amongst the machines. They’re a functional necessity which are recycled at the end of their use. This Design Week, the brand partnered with architects Ensamble Studio to recycle the byproduct in a different way. The result is a collaborative installation, “The Paper Log: Shell and Core,” where the paper is recontextualised into compelling spatial and structural works. #Art #ArtTok #Design #MilanDesignWeek #DesignWeek
