Released in 2006 for North America, Kingdom Hearts II follows Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they awaken from a year-long sleep to face the mysterious Organization XIII and the threat of the Nobodies. The story begins with a prologue featuring a new boy named Roxas in Twilight Town before transitioning into Sora’s continent-spanning quest to reunite with his lost friends, Riku and Kairi. Together with iconic Disney allies and King Mickey, the heroes journey through various cinematic worlds to stop the Organization’s leader, Xemnas, from completing a manufactured Kingdom Hearts.
