Part two. The comments wrote this one.

The post on the absent randomized trial data behind BPC-157, TB-500, and MOTS-c got the response you would expect from a cash-pay industry whose products lack the studies to support them: ferocious volume. Hundreds of comments, almost none citing a published trial, most of them following the same three rhetorical patterns that surface under every peptide thread on the internet.

That pattern is itself a finding.

The personal attack. "Dogmatic. Academic neanderthal. Intellectually deficient. Get your head out of your book." When the molecule cannot defend itself, the messenger gets the treatment.

The deflection. "Stay in your lane. It is a personal choice. Why do you even care? MILLIONS are taking it, the anecdotes speak for themselves..." Asking a muscle, tendon, and metabolism researcher to stop talking about muscle, tendon, and metabolism interventions is not a coincidence. It is a request to vacate the lane the marketing has parked in. And millions of anecdotes? Still not data... and the anecdotes aren't all positive!

The conspiracy. "Big pharma is hiding it because they cannot patent peptides." Categorically false, and addressed in the patent-myth slide of the last deck, but the line keeps coming back because it is easier to say than to read regulations.

And the reading at the end. When a drug has trials and works... Insulin, statins, metformin, semaglutide, tirzepatide. No influencer codes, no cash-pay clinics, no at-home how-to guides, no comment-section armies. When a drug does not have trials, the marketing is loud, the testimonials are constant, and the comment section does the heavy lifting, the data cannot. Volume tracks inversely with evidence. That is not a metaphor. It is a pattern visible in every unproven therapeutic of the last fifty years. #snakeoil

The data has not changed. The bar has not changed. Show me the trial. Then we can have the conversation about the price tag.
