One of the most uplifting house music tracks ever made.

Released in 2006, “World, Hold On (Children of the Sky)” by Bob Sinclar featuring Steve Edwards quickly became a defining feel-good record of the 2000s house era.

Built around its unforgettable whistling melody, acoustic guitar groove, and Edwards’ soulful vocals, the track topped the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and reached the top 10 across much of Europe.

Beyond the charts, it became a global dancefloor anthem,  known for its uplifting message and timeless energy. The iconic video, following a young boy building a spaceship, only added to its legacy.

Nearly two decades later, the track found new life when FISHER’s 2022 rework introduced it to a new generation of house fans. #bobsinclar #worldholdon
