Dear Readers:
Somehow, 2022 is almost over. And that means we’re busy at work planning for the year ahead.
We believe in the power of journalism to strengthen our community and uphold our democracy. And whether you’re new to Stocktonia or have been with us from the very beginning, you know that our nonprofit and nonpartisan reporting fills a critical need in our community. 
That’s why we’re so excited to brainstorm for 2023. The funding we raise during our NewsMatch campaign will set us up for success for the year ahead—sustaining the kind of reporting you’ve come to expect from us and allowing us to set our sights even higher.

Our plans for next year include launching our newsletter, increased investigative series into local government and school districts, as well as podcasts and livestreaming events to give the community a firsthand look at your community in action.
