The bond between a mother and daughter is truly special. ❤️➡️

Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Zahara, made a beautiful speech dedicated to her mom while at a mother-daughter luncheon hosted by the Pearls of Purpose Foundation and the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha at Spelman College over the weekend. 

“When I was asked today to speak on the value of mother-daughter relationships, it felt challenging to find the words,” she began her speech. “Not challenging because I don’t value it, but because my mom and I have a unique, almost kindred relationship that could be hard to put into words.”

She credits her mom for being the role model in her life to show her “what it looks like to be a decent human being” and thanks her for making her the strong woman she is today. 🥰

Zahara enrolled at Spelman, a private historically Black women’s liberal arts college, back in 2022. A year later, she joined Alpha Kappa Alpha. 🏫
