We were honored to welcome military families to the #911Museum this weekend for a special day recognizing the #MonthOfTheMilitaryChild.

Families gathered to connect, reflect, and experience meaningful programs designed to celebrate the strength and resilience of military children. Visitors heard powerful first-person stories of service and sacrifice, participated in hands-on art activities, and explored “Our Flag Was Still There,” a moving installation highlighting unity and endurance. Throughout the day, families enjoyed a service-themed story time, creative youth activities, and a guided Youth & Family Tour that sparked thoughtful conversations across generations.
