LIONS POSTMATCH: Seniors Skylar Noble and Presley Johnson produced a dramatic rally to win a three-set thriller and help propel the jserra.beachvolleyball team to a hallmark 3-2 victory over the Redondo Union Sea Hawks in a CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals match on Wednesday at the Hermosa Beach Volleyball Courts in Hermosa Beach.

The duo (and future University of South Carolina teammates) spoke about the team’s focus in battling a Redondo Union team that had defeated the Lions in the semifinals for three straight years, their intense third-set comeback triumph, and the team’s overwhelming joy in earning a historical triumph for the program.
