Best desserts in Tampa Bay: Beignets by batonroux 

This food truck recently popped up in front of dogbarstpete and the scent of beignets called to us. These sugar coated powdery delicacies hit the spot. 

Alexis Williams launched the truck a few years ago and she continues to deliver authentic Cajun cuisine to the area. 

If you want something on the savory side, enjoy Crawfish Etouffee, Jambalaya, Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo, and Cajun Tacos.
