18-23hp base model surface drive mud motor (with 500cc engine) walkthrough 

The 18-23hp base model surface drive is direct drive, meaning that the propeller is always spinning if the engine is running. There’s no neutral or reverse.

This model fits either a short shaft transom (15-16”) or to transoms (18-21”)

Kit weighs 100 pounds by itself and fits engines with 1 inch horizontal key crankshaft like the Mud-Skipper 18hp, 22hp and harbor freight 22hp V twin.  Also Vanguard models with 1” horizontal key shaft

This surface drive utilizes a 10 inch stainless steel propeller and is driven by synchronous belt
