This is my Yeh-Yeh’s Crispy Pork Belly - and he’s a huge reason why I wrote my cookbook ❤️ You already know how special this recipe is to me. Yeh-yeh was a Chinese immigrant, who came to the US in search of a better life - he served in the US army, where he learned to butcher and eventually opened up his own grocery store. He LOVED cooking for and eating with his family.
