## Caption

Bengali Style Seafood Boil✨

Chingri maas meets american seafood boil 🙂‍↔️

*adjust your spice levels according to your taste :) * 

Seafood Broth:
- 6 cups of water
- 3dried red chilis
- 1 lemon cut into quarters 
- 2 bay leaves
- 2-4 black peppercorns
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 ½ Teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
- 1 ½ Teaspoon of Cajun seasoning
- 1 ½ Teaspoon of Paprika 
- 1 Teaspoon of Cayenne 
- 1 Teaspoon of Oregano 

Add Ins:
•2-3 Ears of Corn
•1lbs of baby potato
•Your choice of seafood: im using 1 1/2lb of Shrimp & lobster tails

Sauce:
•1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter
•2 tablespoons of shallots/red onion
•4 tablespoons of garlic
•1 cup of crushed tomatoes
•1 ½ Teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
•1 ½ Teaspoon of Cajun seasoning
•1 ½ Teaspoon of Paprika 
•1 Teaspoon of Cayenne 
•1 1/2 teaspoons of kashmiri chilli powder
•2 teaspoon of cumin powder
•2 teaspoons of coriander powder
•1 teaspoons of fenugreek leaves
•1/2 teaspoons of garaham masala
•2 tablespoons of brown sugar
•1 1/2 cup of seafood stock 
•1 tablespoons of lemon juice

Instructions:
1. In a large pot, add the cut lemons, bay leaves, peppercorns, dried chiis and the seasonings to bring to a boil for about 10 mins
2. Add in the baby potatoes, corn, and eggs and cook for about 15 minutes till it’s tender. Once it’s tender, remove into a separate bowl.
3. Add in your shrimp, cooking for 3 minutes and lobster in the pot cooking for 5 minutes, once it’s done remove.
4. In the meantime, in a pan add your butter and saute the garlic for about 1-2 minutes. 
5. Add in your seasonings along with the reserved seafood stock and crushed tomatoes and let the mixture reduce till it thickens as a sauce.
6. In the same large pot, drain all the liquid, add your seafood along with the potatoes, peeled boiled eggs, corn, and begin adding your sauce.
7. Mix everything till its well combined.
8. Serve with extra seafood boil sauce or eat as is!
