Portland residents may be dragging their fans and air conditioners out of storage earlier than expected this year.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Portland area over the weekend, and forecasters say temperatures could climb into the upper 80s to low 90s on Sunday, with a high likelihood of some areas in Portland reaching 91 degrees.
