Kennedy Mills, Early Childhood Education | Chesnee, SC

Kennedy Mills is excited to step into her own classroom but her most meaningful lessons came from behind the scenes.

Through admissions work, field experiences and hands-on teaching preparation, she built the confidence to begin her role as a third-grade teacher this fall.

While college can sometimes feel overwhelming to new students, Kennedy suggests taking it one day at a time. "Make the memories, say yes to new challenges and never be afraid to rise up at Upstate!”
