TRY NOT TO FALL INTO THE TRAP AT A YOUNG AGE OF CHASING ONLY BALL EXIT VELOCITY☝🏽 Because the last thing I want to be labeled by evaluators is “one dimensional”and If I’m allowing my other tools and abilities to suffer while chasing after this one metric, what did I even accomplish🤷🏽‍♂️ Don’t get me wrong its great to hit baseballs really hard, but if I’m a normal size human I believe I’ll get way more opportunities to play if I can check every single box or be above average at every tool (“well rounded” instead of one dimensional). Every baseball player in history has gotten into a slump at some point for whatever reason☹️ What happens at that point for me? Can I play multiple positions above average and/or take runs away on defense? Can I impact the game on the basepaths🤔 Or do I just become a liability at that point because I can do none of those skills at a high level🤷🏽‍♂️ I’ve always respected the versatility of Tampa Bay Rays Utility Player and MY GUYY🤩 richiemille 🗽 at 5’8”/185lbs its tough to compete and add value when playing against dudes that look like they were built in a laboratory but he found a way😎🏊🏽‍♂️💦⚾️ 🎥 consistent.network 📈 #baseball #mlb #big #league #versatility
