It’s Big Row week, and it’s also time to celebrate Kat Alexander! Everyone on the team knows Kat, a Pelham Community Rowing Association and Greenwich Crew legend, for her constant willingness to help out #kelp, her infectiously happy energy, and her love for this team and her teammates 🤗🫶🥰. She is truly the heart and soul of SWC and it is hard to put into words what makes Kat so special. She makes everyone around her laugh 😆, feel appreciated, and is such a rock for so many of us 🪨🗿, whilst also working so hard and approaching everything with discipline and grit. 💪 She also knows how to have an awesome time, whether it’s showing up to Halloween lift with full commitment 🦸‍♀️, being a golfing prodigy🏌️‍♀️, or laying down a lethal rhythm #halfslidebuilders, the skills she brings to the table do not go unnoticed! Above all, she is unbelievably kind and shows up for everyone, and we can’t thank her enough! She is off to Cambridge next year to get her MPhil in Human Evolutionary Studies because she loves monkeys so much 🙈. We hope she loves her time in the UK 🇬🇧 and we will miss her tenacity, positivity and words of wisdom so so much!
