At the 1994 BRIT Awards, held on Valentine's Day at Alexandra Palace, Björk and PJ Harvey performed a stripped-back cover of The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.” They were accompanied by only a guitar and a miniature synthesizer. ⁠ ⁠ The pairing was their own doing. The ceremony's organizers had initially proposed other duet partners: Björk with Meat Loaf, Harvey with Jamiroquai.
