The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles voted to deny James Broadnax clemency. It's time to call on Texas Governor Greg Abbott to exercise his power and grant James a 30-day stay of execution. 

James is awaiting execution tomorrow, April 30, for a crime he did not commit. Demarius Cummings has confessed that he, not James, shot the victims. Demarius is serving a sentence of life without parole. So why is James still facing execution? 

Public outcry has stopped executions before, and now we have less than a day to mobilize once again before it’s too late. Greg Abbott has the power to intervene in this case, but he needs to hear from all of us – NOW!
