I spent years waiting to feel confident before I acted.

Waiting to feel ready. Waiting for the doubt to go away.

It never went away.

Then I realised: confidence isn’t the thing that comes before the action. It’s the thing that comes after.

You move. You survive. Your brain logs a receipt: I did the hard thing and I’m still here.

That’s self-trust. It’s not a feeling you find. It’s a skill you build. One rep at a time.

The moment I stopped waiting to feel confident and started collecting evidence that I could handle hard things - everything changed.
