You'll want to keep this event on your radar! The Harkin Institute is proud to be partnering with the Polk County Health Department and the Iowa Cancer Registry for the Cancer in Polk County event. The event will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Sheslow Auditorium on Drake University's campus. There will be a virtual attendance option as well through an online link. Come listen to experts share data on the factors that are influencing cancer rates throughout Polk County and highlight current organizations who are expanding education and resources for early detection and prevention.
