🌅 Did you know there is a place in Norway where the sun never sets during summer?! This natural phenomenon is called the “Midnight Sun” and one of the best places on Earth to experience it is the Lofoten Islands in Norway.

✨This occurs because the islands are so far North in the Arctic Circle that the sun doesn’t set below the horizon making it a dream for hikers, adventurers, nature enthusiasts, and photographers. Spending our “nights” exploring  in this breathtaking landscape were some of the most magical travel experiences we’ve ever had and it needs to be on your bucket list!

 During our time in Lofoten we stayed at the beautiful sandtorgholmen Hotel – BW Signature Collection. This historic hotel dates back to the 13th century and sits right on the waterfront. Our bestwestern stay felt like stepping back in time with cozy rooms, incredible views of the fjord, delicious Norwegian breakfasts, and warm hospitality.
