Before and after their factory rides, many of the motocross stars competed in the SX and MX series out of box vans with limited support.

Others like Todd DeHoop were a part of the influential teams that provided many resources of the factory teams, just on a smaller budget. It's teams like Tuf Racing or Honda of Troy that set the stage for today's support teams that compete in the SX and MX series.
