Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) advises: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 

They see the graduation… but not the journey it took to get here. 🎓
Thank you, Jesus, for giving me strength when I needed it most and the perseverance to keep going. I’m forever grateful to my mom for her constant support throughout this entire journey. And to the 13 T.O.T, thank you for uplifting me throughout my endeavors.

From being a D1 football player chasing one dream, to having to let it go and build a whole new one… it wasn’t easy. I went from Drake University ➡️ Texas State University ➡️ Prairie View A&M University, trying to figure life out in real time while people doubted me every step of the way.

What they didn’t see was the grind.
Working job after job—Walmart, UPS, security at clubs, on campus, government contracts, moving furniture, mounting TVs, training clients—doing whatever it took to survive and keep going. Balancing work, school, and life when quitting would’ve been easier.

What they didn’t see was the growth.
Getting into research with CEES. Becoming a technician. Having two internships. Learning real skills. Building something out of nothing. Turning pressure into discipline.

What they didn’t see was the mindset shift…
When football ended, I could’ve folded. Instead, I rebuilt. I chose engineering. I chose consistency. I chose to keep showing up.

Now it all makes sense.

A story that speaks for itself.

This isn’t just a graduation… this is proof that doubt doesn’t define you.
This is for every long night, every sacrifice, every moment I kept going when it didn’t make sense.
