Re·sil·ience (rə-ˈzil-yən(t)s) noun: the capacity to withstand or recover quickly from difficulties; the ability to adapt and rise despite adversity. 
Te·na·cious (tə-ˈnā-shəs) adjective: holding firm; persistent and determined, not easily letting go despite challenges.

When I reflect on my journey, I see both. There were moments that tested me, stretched me, and tried to break me, but through it all, God carried me. It’s the God in me. I did the work, but my testimony is proof that His grace, favor, and timing set me through every single season.

“God is within her, she will not fall” Psalms 46:5

On May 9th, 2026, I will be proud to graduate from thee illustrious Prairie View A&M University, earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology 🎓

To my parents, thank you for being my foundation, my covering, and my constant. Your love, sacrifices, and prayers never went unnoticed. I am because you are.
