Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev paid tribute to the normalization of relations with Armenia, on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit on Monday. "This is a clear indication that peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a reality," he said. "After the fact that peace was achieved, Azerbaijan unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions to Armenia imposed in the beginning of 90s. Up to now, 28,000 tonnes of cargo to Armenia was delivered through the territory of Azerbaijan." According to Aliyev, Baku had also begun supplying oil products to Yerevan, marking the start of trade relations between the two countries. #armenia #Azerbaijan #europe #eu
