4 years ago I was scrolling through YouTube when I came across Conan Gray. At that time he had around 10,000 ish subscribers. I immediately connected with his sentimental artsy vibe and liked his unique humor. When he first started covering songs like Lana Del Rays or started creating his own little acoustic songs on his guitar I was impressed and enjoyed listening to his soft and calming voice. Every time I felt upset, sad or homesick I’d come back to his YouTube channel to listen to one of the many covers or songs. ‘The Other Side’ was one of my favorites. Finally seeing him in person and not only seeing him be himself but also seeing him perform his music live in front of me was amazing. I can’t describe it. It’s incredible how far he’s come and I’m happy to have been able to be apart of his journey.
