I had the opportunity to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the @championsforcasa Connections Center and I was completely blown away! This first of its kind space is a central hub for CASA volunteers and their foster youth to connect, decompress, and enjoy a space that is uniquely theirs. 

Volunteers can “shop” in the Giving Room and find necessities like backpacks and gifts to celebrate milestones like birthdays—all at no cost! They can visit the Quiet Room and talk in private without the background noise of a busy fast food restaurant.

There is a full kitchen, art space, reading corner, music room, and teen tech room available as well. These spaces provide more than fun—they provide an avenue for foster youth to experience daily conveniences that most of us take for granted.

Thank you to the volunteers that give your time, your compassion, your love, and your advocacy to these wonderful kids.
