The Pucks We Freeze is a fast, angsty prequel that perfectly sets the stage for Brooke O’Brien’s Rixton U series. Willow and Kade’s forbidden second chance romance is packed with chemistry, stubborn tension, and just enough swoon to keep the pages turning. The step sibling twist adds delicious drama, while the hockey subplot hints at a bigger mystery that I cannot wait to see unfold. It is short but delivers plenty of emotion, steam, and intrigue, making it a strong kickoff to what looks like a binge worthy series. I am definitely hooked and eager for more Rixton U.
