The 2nd book in The Star Maker Series picks up shortly after the first book's cliffhanger ending, with Kit moving to NYC to escape her issues. This book is not meant to be read as a standalone, so read the first book - Star Maker - before this one. But this book is pact with the 80s rock band rivalry, drama, and interesting characters like the first book, the world Jessa Nevins is building keeps getting more complex, intense, and interesting and keeps me wanting to read what happens next in Kit's life. The book is filled with emotions, some spice, lots of drama, and is easy to read. If you're looking for a blast from the past, this series brings all the 80s nostalgia and more you didn't know you needed to read about.
