What can I say about this book, I absolutely love the Plain Daisy series and book 2 didn't disappoint. We first met Jude and Sadie in The One I Left Behind (book 1) and I knew I would love their story. This is a friends to lovers, marriage of convenience romance that will tug at your heart strings quickly on in the book and have you in your feels as you read. 

Jude and Sadie have been best friends since they were 6, they've always been their for each other and always did what was in best interest for the other which lead then to have such a strong, sweet bond. I could understand why neither of them acted on their mutual feelings for each as they feared they might lose one another and neither wanted to take that risk. But after some complications lead the Jude offers to marry Sadie in a marriage of convenience to help save her family's farm, but lines quickly blur to real when they finally have to admit their feelings for each other, they can't keep to themselves. And you don't want to miss their 🚜 scene, you'll never been able to look at a tractor the same way again.  I will admit that I did find Jude a little inferiating at times especially his self doubt about deserving Sadie, when you know they are meant t9 be. Plus you'll be rooting for them to find their HEA along with their family and everyone else in Willowbrook. 

I can't wait for the next book for Emmett's story as I love the the entire Noughton family and can't wait for his HEA.
