Congratulations to our San Diego County CASA of the Month, Barton M.! 🎉 Since being assigned to 17-year-old Derrick* last year, CASA Bart has demonstrated truly holistic advocacy, supporting both Derrick, who is neurodivergent and mostly non-verbal, and his dedicated single mother. Recognizing that supporting Derrick meant supporting his entire caregiving environment, CASA Bart worked tirelessly to help secure in-home services that provide vital care for Derrick and much-needed respite for his mother.
