Join us in congratulating our Riverside County CASA of the Month, Ron S.!🥳 His unwavering dedication and advocacy have made a profound difference in the life of 16-year-old Ryan*, who has faced significant challenges after the tragic loss of his adoptive father. 

Since Ryan entered foster care at the age of 14, CASA Ron has been a constant source of support, offering stability, guidance, and a voice in critical decisions about his future. His role has been instrumental in shaping Ryan's life, advocating for his education📚, building up his confidence, and supporting his interests. CASA Ron also goes the extra mile to ensure Ryan has every opportunity to thrive, helping him receive behind-the-wheel training, math tutoring, and a bicycle 🚲

One of the most significant moments in CASA Ron’s advocacy recently came when Ryan shared news of a family in Germany—close friends of Ryan’s late father—who were willing to take him in and possibly adopt him. CASA Ron's swift action, passing along a formal letter from the family to Ryan’s social services practitioner, led to the court issuing crucial orders that allowed Ryan to travel to Germany to explore the possibility of living with his late father’s family friends.
