According to a CDC survey, about 1 in 5 high school students reported being bullied at school and more than 1 in 6 reported being bullied electronically in the last year. Bullying is harmful to everyone involved and can lead to depression, thoughts of suicide, and poor academic performance. For National Stop Bullying Day, let's raise awareness of the different types of bullying our youth face (verbal, physical, social, and cyber) and encourage everyone to practice kindness, compassion, and open communication.
