Our CASA volunteers rock! A while back, CASA “Staci” found a damaged guitar and restored it. She now brings it every time she visits “Avery,” a 9-year-old girl in foster care. Avery has been struggling socially and in school, but positively lights up when that instrument is in her hands. Not only has this special guitar helped Staci bond with Avery, it has unlocked a passion for music that Avery may have never discovered if not for her CASA. #FunWithoutFaces
