These were the top strategies from today’s discussions that were successfully implemented in Denver & Indianapolis— a visual representation of what participants believed would be the most important to implement locally.

Other key themes from today’s discussions included:

✅ equipping school leaders with the resources & accountability metrics to be able to successfully embrace autonomy

✅ aligning to a common goal that puts kids at the forefront

✅ having the courage to try new things in response to student needs

HUGE thanks to David Osborne + his team at the Progressive Policy Institute Reinventing America’s Schools Project for helping facilitate an incredible dialogue about what’s possible for kids across all public education sectors when we all work together.

Thank you Superintendent Ebert, Clark County School District Superintendent Jara, Principal Andrea Womack, Trustee Lola Brooks, & Caryne Shea HOPE for Nevada for sharing their meaningful reflections with us.

Thanks to the visionary leaders from Denver & Indianapolis (Mariama Shaheed, Michael O'Connor, Patrick Jones, Peter Groff, Nate Easley, & Kurt Dennis) who shared their stories about what’s possible, and thanks to all local stakeholders who attended!

Finally, thanks Discovery Children's Museum for hosting us!
