The 2010 Major League Baseball draft class was absolutely insane. It is fun to look back at past seasons, as it is often nostalgic and eye-opening, and you realize things that you may not have realized before. This Instagram post shares a select few MLB players who were all taken in the same draft. 

1st baseman and designated hitter Bryce Harper was selected by the Washington Nationals before going to the Philadelphia Phillies. 3rd baseman Manny Machado was on the Baltimore Orioles before going to the San Diego Padres. Starting pitcher Chris Sale was selected by the Chicago White Sox before finding his home on the Atlanta Braves. Outfielder Christian Yelich, a former MLB MVP, was on the Miami Marlins before making a name for himself on the Milwaukee Brewers. Noah Syndergaard was on the New York Mets before landing on the Los Angeles Angels, Nick Castellanos was on the Detroit Tigers, Phillies, and now the SD Padres. Catcher J.T. Realmuto went from the Marlins to Philly. Middle infielder, specifically shortstop Whit Merrifield was a Kansas City Royals legend. Jacob deGrom, a Cy Young winner, was on the NY Mets before going to the Texas Rangers who won a World Series the first year he was on the team, even though he was injured for the duration of the season. Lastly, Joc Pederson of the LA Dodgers also makes his way onto this list.

As you can see, even though many MLB baseball players are often undrafted from other countries, the MLB Draft is still very important, as you can create a solid foundation for your baseball team as well as fill in any holes or gaps.
